great toy, good gift for older sib of a new baby

I love this toy because: 1. both my 1 1/2 and 4 year old like it 2. It doesn't mess up my house because it stays put on the fridge but can be portable 3. It has a volumne control and an off switch 4. it is fun! and the music isn't horrribly annoying

Babies love Freddie

I bought this toy for my 3 month old son and he has been absolutely mesmerized by Freddie for the last two months. This toy really stimulates his mind. In fact, it is the first toy he creeped up to and began to play with while on his belly. The wings have different textures, which he likes to touch and also chew on (to help his aching gums). The crinkling of the wings has him fascinated. He loves to put his fingers through the holes, try to grab the little knots at the top of the antennae, and grab onto the rings and shake Freddie to hear the rattling. As other reviewers have mentioned, he also frequently gums the little teether. This toy is great for his entertainment and his development. Our son hates riding in the car - Freddie keeps him quiet for 15-20 minutes at a time. Bottom line, Freddie is so wonderful he inspired my first ever Amazon review.

entertaining to all!

After reading the reviews on this toy, my husband and I decided to see how our baby would react to it. Freddie was an instant hit! In fact, he never put it down in the store (I had to pull off the tag becuase Freddie went stright into his mouth). The baby finds it absolutely facinating in the car and stays quiet for the entire ride, whereas normally he's not a fan of car rides. My husband and I are still finding different aspects of the toy almost a week later. The wings crinkle, one wing squeeks, the head dingles when shaken, and there are about 5 different textures to the wings. A "must have" for extended periods of peace!

Our son LOVES Freddie!

Our son is 4 months old and he LOVES freddie! This keeps his attention and he loves to chew on it. The wings krinkle and it has a big ring that attaches to anything so he can't throw it down. I have reccommended this item to many new parents! It is great! :)

Great for the dino fan

My son loved this book so much that he got up at 6 a.m. the next day (lucky me!) just to play with it. And unlike most toys, this one has stayed close by and been used frequently since then. So this would have been a bargain even at full price. At this discounted price, WOW!

We bought this for our 4 year old son who loves dinosaurs. This is a very entertaining and educational book. My son enjoys the different pages with fun facts and games. The last page has a culminating activity using 16 interactive dinosaur cards. WE LOVE THIS! After learning about each of the dinosaurs he can play a game where he can improve his "title" by carefully deciding whether he should make friends with other dinosaurs or fight other dinosaurs. This is by far one of the best Leap Pad books.

While there exist numerous trainable robotic dogs on the marketplace, there's something a little refreshing about a furry mechanical pup that simply does whatever he wants to. Because really, haven't we all met or even owned dogs like that? Once Go-Go is turned on, he moves back and forth on tiny wheels hidden under thick blond fur all the while pivoting at the shoulders and hips to give a more realistic depiction of walking. Go-Go is a noisy little critter as well barking and panting while moving about the floor. While the real dog movements and sounds were lots of fun, such entertainment does come at a price, in this case five "C" batteries. Don't waste your money

This has to be the biggest waste of money I've spent on a toy. It does not respond to sounds, it moves maybe a few inches if it moves at all. It's not soft or cuddly. It's just a noisy piece of junk. And I paid full price for this thing when it was a popular item. Not worth it even with the 60% off it's being offered for on this site. Can't even sell it at a yard sale. Ended up throwing it out.

Like a real dog

It`s so cute! It teaches you how to take care of a real dog. For example, If you leave it for a long time it starts whining.
It`s great for people of all ages!
